Here and Now

South Scarle is a village on the edge of the Nottinghamshire border.  It’s sister village, North Scarle is located in Lincolnshire.  It’s located ten miles from the centre of Newark and 13 miles from the centre of Lincoln.   The village falls within the Newark and Sherwood district.

We have a fabulous parish church dedicated to St Helena which duals as a Community Centre.  This forms the central hub of our Village.

If you scroll down this page you’ll also see a section dedicated to ‘Days Gone By’ which allows us to hold and share memories of our Village both for the current and future generations.  This section is to highlight the things we currently have in the Village.
