Please help local people in crisis by buying items from the list below:Foodbank_ShoppingList

Today in Newark these families are struggling tout food on the table. For people on low incomes, a sudden crisis – redundancy, benefit delay or even an unexpected bill – can mean going hungry. Every day parents skip meals to feed their children and people are forced to choose between paying the rent and eating.

Foodbanks help to prevent family breakdown, housing loss, crime and mental health problems. We also take time to listen and signpost people to further support.

Newark foodbank is part of The Trussell Trust’s UK-wide food bank network. The Trussell Trust is a Christian charity that works with the whole community to provide emergency food to people of all faiths and none. Whilst food banks are motivated by Christian values, there is no requirement for any food bank client or volunteer to engage in any Christian activity. For further information visit .
